Social Summit – Global Change: Innovation | Youth | Entrepreneurship | Technology
Great to meet His Excellency, Nadir Patel, High Commissioner for Canada to India & His Worship Naheed Nenshi, Mayor, Calgary, Alberta along with other fellow members last evening at Social Summit – Global Change: Innovation | Youth | Entrepreneurship | Technology. Yi Delhi partnered with CII North American Division and Global Shapers New Delhi Hub (WEF) to organize a thought-provoking Social Summit, which was hosted at the residence of His Excellency, Nadir Patel, High Commissioner for Canada to India.
It was part of a series of activities carried out as part of the visit by His Worship Naheed Nenshi, Mayor, Calgary, Alberta, to various Indian cities.
There were few eminent speakers as listed below who gave valuable insights on various topics:
Ayush Jaiswal
Ayush is the Co-Founder and Joint CEO of Pesto Tech, an intensive training programme dedicated to upskilling India’s five million software engineers and giving them access to borderless job opportunities. He is also a Kairos Fellow, and serves as an advisor for Startup Grind India.
Shaili Chopra, SheThePeople
Shaili is an Indian business journalist, author and entrepreneur. She is the founder of SheThePeople TV, a platform focused on empowering women with stories of role models and inspire them with a changing conversation on women and matters related to them.
Anisha Singh, She Capital
Anisha is a founding partner of She Capital which is focussed on investing in startups with either women as sole founders or one of the Co-founders. The fund is focussed on investing in early-stage startups, and has a total corpus of around Rs 200 crore.
Vikram Badhwar, Executive Coach
Vikram is an experiential educator, positive psychology and executive coach, keynote speaker, musician, adventurer, martial artist, actor, and communications expert. He has been using experiential methods of education since the nascent stages of experiential methodology in India.
He has worked across industries in the last two decades using business, experiential and holistic methodologies in the space of organizational development and as an executive coach.

Arnab Kumar, Niti Ayog
Arnab is Program Director, Frontier Technologies for NITI Aayog, and leads NITI Aayog’s strategy, policy and implementation initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Blockchain and Digital Economy. Arnab has co-authored India’s National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence (released Jun 2018) and has been driving the architecture of the proposed National Programme on AI. He has also co-authored “Blockchain: The India Strategy” (released Jan 2020).
Rajat Sethi
Rajat is a public policy and management graduate from Harvard University and MIT Sloan, respectively. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. Rajat is currently the political adviser to the Chief Minister of Manipur. He is active in impacting politics in the various North-Eastern states of India.
Aalim Javeri, All India Professional’s Congress
Aalim serves as the Chief Operations Officer of the All India Professionals’ Congress, a department of the Indian National Congress and is in charge of the administrative and operational functions of the AIPC, nationally. Aalim has extensive experience in parliamentary affairs and political action strategy. He also has work experience with the United Nations in India and in the field of private equity.
